So, we have no qualms about taking the hair magician’s advice for creating a festive hairdo.

1) Add Volume to Your Wash and Go
“For the holiday season, why not take our favorite low maintenance hairstyle – a simple wash and go up a notch by adding volume to your curls,” says Stephen.
Step 1: Wash your hair with conditioner and detangle it with a brush which will help to remove tangles and shed hairs that can cause matting, and ultimately, breakage.

Step 1: Rejuvenate your curls by lightly spraying your hair with water.

Step 3: Raise your hair up as high as you can and brush the back and sides for a tidier look.

3) The Funky Fo-Hawk
“If you are looking to do something edgy this season this is a perfect hairstyle,” says Stephen. “Not only is it very festive and fun, it can be daring and provocative allowing you to spice things up this holiday season.”
Step 1: After cleaning your hair, gather a section of hair on the side of head. Push it upwards from underneath. Use bobby pin to secure strands flat against the head.
Step 2: Working towards the nape, keep smoothing hair up and pinning into place. Lock pins so they connect in a chain and repeat on the other side of the head.
Step 3: Use bobby pins to secure any longer strands that may be falling out.
Step 4: Slick an edge-control gel along the sides of your head to make sure your edges stays sleek.
Step 5: Finish a holding spray of your choice. You can also use a hair pick to add extra volume.
