Curly Girl Collective, an organization created to celebrate women with natural hair, hosted their 6th Annual Curlfest Saturday at Randall’s Island in New York City. The immersive experience, which included activations from natural hair brands, an artisan marketplace, international cuisine, panels, hip-hop, and soca music, amassed thousands of attendees clad in eccentric fashion and eye-catching hairstyles. The festival venue, an oasis situated between East River and Harlem River, became a wellspring of hair inspiration.
