1. Maki Oh Braid
This look was highlighted back in February as one of the hairstyles that caught our eye during NYFW’s Fall 2017 season! We particularly loved how this style modernized the classic french braids by serving up some natural hair magic at the ends.

3. LEMONADE Braids
As fabulous as these braided styles can be, they tend to be heavy and can cause stress on our hairlines if worn for extended periods of times. Stick to rocking one of these styles for about 4 weeks and after, select a new one that doesn’t pull as much.

4. Hair Ribbons
2017 Festival season is literally around the corner and if you are looking to make an extra jazzy statement with your hair, try out the “hair ribbon” trend. It will take your braids or cornrows to the next level. Let’s just say we are already obsessed! Pro Tip: Select a braid rope fabric, such as satin, that won’t dry out your hair or cause too much friction against your strands. Find materials at your local craft store, such as Michaels!

5. Braid Rings
Thought piercings and hoops were just for your ears? Nope! Braided rings are in and add extra spice to your hair! Pro Tip: We don’t recommend sleeping with hair rings overnight. Not only can they be a safety hazard; they can potentially damage your hair and pull it out. Take them out daily and try out new ways to adorn them daily.

This one is for the fellas! More and more, guys are opting to grow out their hair, but not the traditional way we are used to seeing them. They are sprucing up their looks by adding cool braid designs that will have the ladies doing double takes.
