Last night, we watched Ciara glide across the stage at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center to accept the Black Girls Rock ‘Rock Star Award’, wearing a head-to-toe sequined gown that was as shiny as her jet-black shoulder-length strands.
Ciara’s sleek sectioned off ‘do, was styled by Ceasar DeLeon Ramirez, who says the look was inspired by 90s glam. If you know anything about the beauty trends from yesteryear, then you know that the decade was all about keeping your hair silky and smooth. The era brought us silk press and wrap hairstyles, that gave hair plenty of bounce and shine.
Seeing the mom of two in the polished look, was nostalgic, to say the least, and now we want sleek hair too. Luckily Ramirez shared the one beauty product that will give us the hair of our dream, and it’s UNITE’s Go 365 hairspray.
The must-have retails at $30 and “offers a 3-in-1 setting which allows you to select a light, medium, or strong hold,” said Ramirez. “It also provides a sleek, silky, smooth finish without any flakes.”
