There’s no denying that Grammy winning crooner, Corinne Baily Rae has exquisite natural hair. While most assume that she was born with lavish curls and coils, in reality, her hair journey wasn’t always easy. After a bad dye experience before college, the beauty cut off her relaxed hair and never looked back. It was an initial challenge, but these days the singer finds natural hair less expensive and her hair is thriving because of the switch.

“I’m not some kind of preacher saying ‘You have to have natural hair,’ but for me it’s easier,” She told Billboard. “When I was getting it relaxed, I almost wished my hair didn’t grow, because it was so expensive and broke easily. Now it’s simple to care for. I just wash my hair with Rahua shampoo and Liz Earle conditioner, use Olio Lusso oil by Rodin, put it in plaits and then take the plaits out.”
