When you hear the name Courtney Adeleye, you probably think of money moves. The beauty maven is the founder of The Mane Choice, a wildly popular and lucrative hair care line whose mission is to help women grow and retain their hair and give back to the community. The immense success of the company has helped Adeleye achieve the latter in more ways than one.
Through outreach initiatives like the “Pay My Bills” campaign, “The Bawse” Conference, and a host of others, the entrepreneur has created opportunities for individuals to get on the path to wealth. And she recently announced her biggest initiative yet: The Generational Advantage Fund to which she will personally contribute $30 Million to fund women entrepreneurs.
Adeleye shared the news on Instagram, in an inspiring Instagram post. The money mogul says she’s had this dream and vision for six years.
“6 years ago, all I had was faith, a dream, and a vision! A few years ago I said on national television on the @iamsteveharveytv show….that I was going to create as many female BAW$ES as I can! I had no idea as to HOW I was going to do it! But I KNEW deep down that God was going to make a way for me!”, Adeleye captioned the post.
“Now, with a $30,000,000.00 personal contribution, I have created the @GenerationalAdvantageFund,” she continued.
“God I ask you to bless this fund, I ask you to point it into the direction of all who needs it, I ask you to grow it even bigger and greater than I could ever imagine and I ask you to give me the wisdom to navigate it. Once again and as always, thank you for your support! I promise I will not let you down! I ask each and every one of you to pray for me as I embark on this new, massive initiative! Please follow @generationaladvantagefund because my plan is to get started this month and it will not be just for black women in businesses it’s much broader than that,” she shared.
And to that, we say amen. We can’t wait to see the impact of the bossy, new initiative.
