Clarifying shampoo is best used when you have tried cowashing or shampooing and your hair still feel dirty. It will get rid of excess oil and buildup. Clarifying shampoo is also a great way to clean your hair and scalp before you style it with heat, but only use it when needed. Using it too much can be very drying and can lead to breakage. When using clarifying shampoo, always rinse thoroughly and deep condition your hair immediately after shampooing.
