A wise and flawless woman once told us girls run the world, but Freddie Harrel reminded social media on Monday, that we also run multimillion-dollar businesses.
In an Instagram post, the fashion and beauty influencer announced that Radswan, Harrel’s conscious beauty brand that will launch next year, has raised $2 Million from an all-female pool of venture capitalist to start a line of premium Afro hair extensions.
“Women will be able to purchase premium synthetic hair extensions and wigs directly from the brand’s website” and “clip in the hair without having to spend hours in a salon chair,” the Evening Standard reports.
Harrel refers to this part of her company’s journey as making history.
“This is Chapter 1: We’re making history!” she captioned the Instagram post, “…you’re not ready for what’s coming,” she continued.
The company won’t launch until Spring 2020, but you can get a preview of the brand’s first lookbook in Radswan’s virtual manifesto.
