We’re not sure if you noticed or not, but Paris Fashion Week is buzzing with hot celebs killing the street style. From, Jada Pinkett Smith to Zoë Kravitz, stars are truly stepping out in style! We especially liked Zendaya’s hair at the Vogue Paris 95th Anniversary Party—it was a perfectly marriage of sleek and sophistication. We caught up with Jennifer Yepez, who created the look and she explained how important it was for Zendaya to have a versatile look. “For Zendaya’s first day in Paris, she had a lot of wardrobe changes,” says Yepez. “We wanted a hairstyle that would go great with all of her looks throughout the day, and this was the perfect fit.”
First, Yepez started with Nexxus Diametress Leave-in Conditioner, Oribe Grandiose Mousse from roots to mid-shaft and Nexxus Promend from mid-shaft to the ends. Then she used T3 Medium Sized Round Brush and Blow Dryer and blew Zendaya’s hair dry, starting at the nape of her neck and making clean sections, moving toward the top/front. Next, Yepez focused more on the root area and applied mousse (as needed) to get more grip and hold to keep the style in place. On the sides, crown and front, Yepez used a Mason Pearson Brush and blow-dried the hair flat, following the shape of her head. After the blow dry, Yepez used a T3 Flat Iron on the ends and then applied a small amount of Nexxus Oil Infinite on the ends to nourish and add some shine.
“Once I got the desired shape, I sprayed Nexxus Comb Thru Touchable Hair Spray on the front to keep the hair in place, and used a small, flat teasing brush for any fly-aways,” she says.
