Porter was found dead in her Toluca Lake, California home earlier this month. Authorities still don’t know the cause of death.
Both Diddy and Porter’s families released a statement this weekend calling Porter “the epitome of kindness and grace.
“God broke the mold when he made Kim, there was truly no other woman like her,”the statement said. “Although her time here on earth was far too short, she lived a life full of purpose and meaning. She was a loving mother and devoted friend.”
“She was the epitome of kindness and grace,” the statement continued. “There wasn’t a person she met who’s soul she did not touch. Kim was the type of woman who changed lives for the better. Although we’ve lost our best friend, God has gained a special angel and we know she is watching over us.”
Last Sunday, Diddy held a memorial at his home for his the mother of his three children —20-year-old Christian Combs, and 11-year-old twins, D’Lila, and Jessie Combs. Combs also considered Porter’s eldest son, Quincy Brown, to be one of his children as well.
Our thoughts are with the family on this difficult day.
