From combing through tutorials on YouTube to chatting with your “curlfriends” about products, it takes a village to start your natural hair journey. This team spirit within the natural hair community led New York naturalistas to come together for hair care seminars and exhibits at the Naturally and Wonderfully Made Expo. The all-day affair was hosted by the Natural Hair Does Care meet-up group and included hairstyling demos, one-on-one consultations with local stylists and a chance for old and new naturals alike to walk away more informed about their hair.
