On what seemed to be the hottest day of the year, curly cuties gathered at the Karen’s Body Beautiful store in Brooklyn for a natural hair meet-up to kick off the summer! The event was co-hosted by Myleik Teele of curlBOX and Karen Tappin, owner of Karen’s Body Beautiful, two natural hair enthusiasts who have touched the lives of curly girls coast to coast through their hair care businesses. The line swept around the block as naturalistas awaited their chance to pick up luxurious bath, body and hair treatments, sip champagne and snag a free sample pack of hair goodies. Not only was the weather hot, but the coils, kinks and waves we spotted were sizzling, too!
