After six-years, Tia Mowry’s son Cree Taylor Hardrict got his first haircut, and he couldn’t look any cuter. Infamous for his long locs, Cree decided it was time for a big chop!
Despite the naysayers Tia told ESSENCE last year that, “I asked my son, I said, ‘Cree, do you want to cut your hair? Do you want mommy to cut your hair?’ He’s like, ‘No, no mommy.’ I’m like, ‘Okay, then we ain’t cutting your hair.’”
But that all changed yesterday evening when the youngster giddily bid fairwell to his tresses via an Instagram video posted to Tia’s page. “Yes, someone got a hair cut. I just did a live video explaining why I decided to cut my sons hair,” Tia says.
“If you missed it, it’s plain and simple. He asked me to. As his mom, I’m here to nurture his thoughts and ideas and that’s exactly what I did,” she went on to say.
And Cree was all smiles post big chop!
We think he looks adorable with or without his hair, and can’t wait to see what style he decides rock next.
