Black men in Hollywood are certainly having a hair moment (see: Chris Brown’s Kriss-Kross braids), but I have questions about Joc’s latest stunt. Was this done at a salon or by Joc himself? Does he have an extensive flat iron collection? Is he joining the cast of Motown: The Musical? Has he discovered the magic that is a silk bonnet or pillowcase? Also…why? According to Complex, Joc is possibly working on a throwback film called The Products of the American Ghetto, but that hasn’t stopped Black Twitter from going all the way in.
Young Joc is appropriating our loud auntie at the cookout with his pixie hair cut. I will not have it.

Despite the onslaught of hilarious commentary, Joc appears unbothered by what the world thinks. “See, it’s cool to be a follower, I guess,” he shared in a series of IG videos. “All y’all wanna look alike. But what if I just chose to do something different because I knew yo motherf***in’ ass was gonna talk about it? I won.”Young Joc looking like that one aunt with the little mustache pic.twitter.com/2yrAPvsN5v

Anything goes in the world of hair, but this pixie cut is not the business.
