Toddlers may just be the hardest children to purchase for during the holiday season. Babies are too young to even understand and young children typically know exactly what they want to open on Christmas morning. But toddlers are in that in between phase where they may love a toy or they may choose to love the wrapping paper and boxes even more.
We found four toys that we know will be a hit with your adorable little tots this season. Whether boy or girl, they are sure to enjoy one of these buys under $40.
For Your Little Princess
Bloomin Bows Minnie ($19, Walmart)
It’s safe to say that most (if not every) little girl goes through a phase of Minnie Mouse obsession. This 10 inch Minnie is full of surprises that will keep your little one entertained long after the holidays. Her dress is full of bows that transform into beautiful flowers when touched with her magical flower wand or your little ones fingers. And that’s not all. For even more fun, she lights up and sings! For under $20 this Disney character is a total steal.
Care for Me Learning Carrier ($21, Target)
If you’re little one has been begging for a dog and you have no plans of buying a live canine, look no further! This puppy and carrier set will not only make them feel like they have a pet, it will train them how to care for one if you change your mind in the future. Not to mention, the carrier is full of learning opportunities with colors, shapes, letters and music they will enjoy. We like this one because it’s safe enough for babies as young as 9 months and up to 3 years old.
For Your Little Guy
Go! Go! Smart Wheels Treasure Mountain Train Adventure ($40, Walmart)
We all remember the old movies where kids sat and watched old train sets go round and round and round and it was pure entertainment. There’s something about a choo-choo train that kids thoroughly enjoy and that’s why we love this. It’s a motorized freight train with tracks full of tunnels and hills so he is sure to enjoy the ride. Watch your littles ones delight in exploring and learning songs while chugging his little train along the way.
Little People Sit N Stand Skyway ($30, Target)
If cars are a favorite of your little gent, but he’s not yet ready for Hot Wheels, this is the buy for you. He can watch the cars zoom down the ramp and build the skyway to be a 3-foot tall mountain (with your assistance of course). Let him use his little imagination and create big fun digging into this one.
