Now that your business is taking off, you have tons of places to travel and dozens of people to meet. However, your deals may not go as smoothly if you’re looking messy. An unkempt appearance is not only unprofessional but also distracting. It’s important to look fresh and clean no matter where your travels take you. We chatted with celebrity correspondent and entrepreneur PhaShunta Hubert to get her tips on how she maintains her style on the go. Here are her tips on how to be a fly boss.

My Journey
I always had an eye for communications, media, and theatre and wanted to share my love of the entertainment industry with the world. My website is committed to creating great interviews for its viewers. I started off interviewing some of the most popular radio personalities in my city, rising music artists, and business owners. After studying how to brand and market myself, I transitioned to interviewing celebrities such as Mona Scott-Young, Keke Palmer, and Justine Skye. I have also interviewed legends such as Rev. Al Sharpton, Patti LaBelle, and so many more. In addition, my media company has conducted interviews for Disney, Nickelodeon, BET, and TV One award shows. I have also been seen on TMZ, VH1, MTV, TV One and most recently P. Diddy’s Revolt Live. I hope to expand my brand worldwide and take my talents to television shows such as E! News.
How I Stay Fly
I get plenty of rest, use a good skin moisturizer (Aveeno is my personal preference), and make sure I drink plenty of water and eat healthy meals.
How Bosses Can Look Good on the Go
• Don’t slack on your beauty routine. Always try to stay up-to-date with your manicures and pedicures. A personal, mini make-up kit with a mirror is necessary for quick touch-ups. Also wear cute, comfortable clothing and shoes.
• Wear the right clothes for travel. There are certain clothes that travel better than others when it comes to staying fresh and wrinkle-free. Comfortable, stretchy clothes or cute gym attire is what I travel in all the time.
• Never overdress for the occasion. Although you may want to stand out, you don’t want to embarrass yourself at the same time.
My beauty must-haves
Flare eyelashes, mascara, lip gloss and lipstick.
My power accessory
Hoop earrings and pretty, fashionable earring studs.
Final thoughts
I recently introduced my new apparel collection inspired by how women are stereotyped because of their gender. Women have been put into a box, labeled, and made to believe they are limited to certain things. I have witnessed this based on personal experience and I wanted to wear messages that express how I truly feel. We don’t have to limit ourselves, ‘play’ housewife with no ring, or work particular jobs because society tells us to. This apparel collection is made for all ages, super trendy, and made for us girl bosses! It can also be purchased on my website at MissPhaShunta.com.
