ESSENCE kicked-off summer soirée season at Liberty State Park for the 12th annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic on Saturday, June 1st, 2019. The glamorous daytime event brought a few bold-faced names across the water to sip bubbly, two-step and enjoy an exciting polo match in their most stylish warm-weather attire. Think chic sets, straw hats, cat-eye sunglasses, 90s-inspired ensembles, lightweight suits, polka dots, floral prints and essentially any looks associated with the sport of polo.
Michael B. Jordan, Cindy Bruna, Joan Smalls and travel influencer, Asiyami Gold, are just a handful of the cool kids who showed up and showed out. And like always, we brought the party to the party.
