Coca-Cola and ESSENCE are back with a new season of If Not For My Girls 2.0. And you are not going to want to miss this—these ladies tackle the hottest topics that we are all facing, from the pandemic to wellness to being black in 2020.
Meet the Girls
This video series begins a new season with a new group of friends featuring Melanie Fiona, Valeisha Butterfield Jones and Estelle. Melanie is a Canadian singer/song writer who talks openly about how difficult it has been being far from her family in Canada. She talks about how the new, “found time” with her family is an incredible gift, but that it can also feel like a lot sometimes which led to the important role that self-care now plays in her life.
As a global influencer, Valeisha always based her personal success on productivity. Now, due to the quarantine, she has redefined success to be achieving peace while also watching other black women, like Kamala Harris, rise up and redefine success by smashing that glass ceiling.
Originally from England, Estelle is a Grammy Award winner has transformed her home into a studio to continue to broadcast her radio show, something she never thought she could do. She brings in a fresh look at work/life balance and how she is finally able to achieve it.
