Disney Dreamers Academy helped to unlock the voice inside of Jeremiah Pearl. With the inspiration and support of the Academy and his mother Tenyo Pearl, the 2016 DDA graduate found and shaped his purpose. Connecting with creators, visionaries and entrepreneurs steered the now St. Mary’s College sophomore to pursue a career in film and media. He is now the host of national television show Aqua Kids.
“Being a part of DDA allowed me to understand what it means to go after your dreams,” he says. “Being around positive role models pushed me, even more, to want to go out and achieve them.”
Jeremiah’s journey also fueled his mom to recognize the calling in her own life. “DDA encouraged me to dream again,” his mother says. “And I have a dream to become that conduit of inspiration to other people.”
