Homecoming season at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) is still going strong. In case you haven’t noticed by now, homecoming is more than an event, it’s a rite of passage, and vibrant homage to generations of undeniable Black excellence. Basically, it’s pure vibes.
From catching up with old friends on the yard to strolling with frat/sorors to tailgating and turning up to the marching band during the big football game, homecoming at an HBCU is an experience you’ll never forget. Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana recently had their homecoming festivities, and to say it was a moment would be an understatement.
