Father’s Day may be a holiday that we celebrate once a year, but fathers, particularly Black fathers, are special and important all year long. For many young men and women, not having a supportive, loving relationship with their dad can impact their lives in ways that hinders them from moving forward. Unfortunately, the narrative around Black fathers has not always been positive which is why it’s so important for us to celebrate our bomb Black men who are showing up in their children’s lives.
For rapper and super producer Swizz Beatz, nothing is more important than being there for his son Nasir Dean, and making sure he stays on the right path. That’s why to congratulate Nasir on his recent high school graduation, and to celebrate his acceptance into New York University, and his signing to Epic Records (talk about like father, like son!) Swizz decided the pair should take the ultimate father/son road trip through Europe for the Gumball 3000 Rally!
The annual Gumball 3000 Rally, created and hosted by rapper Eve’s billionaire hubby Maximillion Cooper, is an annual luxury car road trip that travels a different 3000-mile route each year, shutting down famous landmarks in each city to host amazing car displays. This year the rally took the duo from Greece through Albania, Montenegro, Croatia, Italy, France, and ending in Ibiza, Spain.
