Welcome to Morocco
Known as one of the gateways to Africa, Morocco is a country filled with ancient wonders, sweeping landscapes and warm hospitality. The eclectic city of Marrakech will overwhelm your senses with the sounds, rhythms and smells of locals’ daily lives. Since the temperatures can be unbearable during the summer months, spring and fall are the best times to visit. You’ll find many affordable riads tucked away in Marrakech’s historic Medina, but if you want to live like a queen, stay at the breathtaking oasis of Amanjena.

Souq Shopping
If you love to shop, the souqs in Marrakech are definitely for you. The labyrinthine of spice stalls, carpet booths, artisan workshops and more, may leave you feeling a bit dizzy, but once you get your bearings, and start haggling, you’ll be impressed with the hustle and bustle of the souqs and their shop owners.

Desert Luxe
Located about 25 miles southwest of Marrakech, you’ll find the Agafay Desert, a playground for locals and visitors alike who can enjoy camelback and horseback riding, kayaking on Lalla Takerkoust, and more. If you’re having too much fun and don’t want to head right back to the city, you can always spend the night camping in the desert to experience the magic of Morocco under the stars.

Fit For A Queen
Once you make it back to Marrakech, don’t leave without getting in some relaxation, and cute photos of course. La Mamounia is just moments away from Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, but feels like a whole new world, boasting romantic gardens and views of the Atlas Mountains. Spend time at the spa unwinding with a traditional hammam and take an IG worthy video in the pool. Afterward, head to Le Marocain for an indulgent dinner full of Moroccan flavor.
