Welcome to Rome
Rome is a popular European destination that holds a spot on everyone’s travel list. With nearly every major airline serving Rome’s Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino (FCO) airport, it has never been easier to plan the perfect Roman adventure. We advise you skip the tourist-filled streets of summer and head to the city from April to early June or September to October, when things quiet down a bit.

Sweet Dreams
While Europe isn’t exactly cheap, there is certainly something for every budget when it comes to accommodations. Be sure to check out Hotels.com and Groupon for deals on hotels. But if you want the ultimate Roman experience, head to the St. Regis Rome where the grounds are a lot more luxurious than your typical hotel.

Fill Your Belly
Of course your itinerary will be filled with visits to the Colosseum, Sistine Chapel, and the Trevi Fountain, but the most important thing you need to do in Rome is eat! Follow the footsteps of the late Anthony Bourdain and grab some cacio e pepe or snails and artichoke at Tratoria Morgana.

Secret Springs
If you’re looking for a unique adventure to get you away from Rome’s bustling streets, head to the natural hot springs at Cascate del Mulino. Located just 2.5 hours by car from Rome, the springs are a comfortable 37.5 degrees Celcius (99.5 F) and the warm water makes it perfect for sooting your weary explorer body. Make sure you arrive by sunrise because by mid-morning, the springs fill up with locals and other in-the-know tourists. Enjoy!
