Much like its neighbors Malaysia and Indonesia, Singapore is a hotspot amongst travelers of color. And yes, there’s more to the futuristic city-state than bucket list-worthy infinity pools and Crazy Rich Asians.
With its multicultural population and overflow of hidden gems, Singapore is a layered destination that provides visitors with never-ending options for discovery.

Golden Birdcage
There are plenty of pretty places to stay when you visit Singapore, but if you’re looking for something outside of the norm, check-in to the PARKROYAL on Pickering. This eco-friendly hotel is an oasis in the middle of Singapore’s business district and the perfect place to woosah after busy days out on the town. Grab a birdcage cabana by the rooftop pool for a secret garden moment you won’t forget.

Colorful Culture
Singapore is home to a variety of cultures, so don’t skip out on exploring its various neighborhoods like Chinatown and vibrant Little India (the main strip, Jalan Besar, is perfect for photos). While there, be sure to sample Prawn Masala at Mustard or try Char Siu at the Michelin star hawker stall, Liao Fan Hong Kong Soya Sauce Chicken Rice & Noodle.
