Welcome to Cape Verde
Cape Verde is an archipelago made up of 10 volcanic islands that sit in the central Atlantic Ocean. Its vibrant culture reflects the country’s Portuguese and African heritage. In fact, the official language spoken by Cape Verdeans is Portuguese, however, most locals speak Cape Verdean Creole (Kriolu) a rhythmic spin-off. If you’re planning a visit, the best time to go is between November and June.
