Longtime lovers Savannah and LeBron James took a well-deserved brief baecation after making history, fittingly, during Black history month.
Savannah, 36, posted a video on her Instagram page with the caption, “Bestie vibes” alongside a pink heart.
The couple, who have been married since 2013, were exploring what appeared to be Antelope Canyon in Page, Ariz. There are also clips of the two relaxing in a luxury hotel and enjoying a bath with rose petals. The quality time came about as the NBA went on their a short break ahead of the popular NBA All-Star Weekend, which took place on Sunday in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Before that break, James, 38, broke Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s all-time scoring record making him the NBA’s all-time leading scorer on Feb 7. During post-game festivities, Savannah toasted to her high school sweetheart and asked that he soak in every milestone.
“You are the hardest-working man I know,” Savannah said of the LA Lakers star. The celebration was hosted by Lobos 1707 Tequila & Mezcal, which James is an investor of.
“I witness day in and day out your dedication and sacrifice and respect for the game every single day,” she said in front of their family and friends.
As mentioned, the two met in high school. LeBron was a basketball and football player at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron, Ohio and Savannah was a cheerleader at a rival school. Their first date was at Outback Steakhouse and they’ve been side by side since.
The entrepreneur and mother always speaks highly of her NBA hubby and the way he loves her, as she did during an interview with Cleveland Magazine.
“He treats me with so much respect — I mean, it’s hard to not love him, with the way that he is with me and the kids and his mom and just everyone who’s around him. He’s a really, really humble guy for everything that he has and everything that he’s done,” she said.
The couple have three children together in sons Bronny (LeBron Jr.) and Bryce, and the youngest as well as the only girl, Zhuri.
