Welcome to the Maldives
Composed of 26 ring-shaped atolls located in the Indian Ocean, which are made up of more than 1,000 coral islands, the Maldives are known for their gorgeous beaches, luxurious overwater bungalows, and unique coral and marine life. Each year lovers across the globe flock to the private island resorts in search of peace, relaxation and of course, love. Though the country is warm and sunny year round, the best time to visit is from November to April. However, planning a trip isn’t exactly cheap. Despite the favorable currency exchange, pricey flights, resorts, and seaplanes can make the journey quite expensive.

Delicious Variety
Traditionally Maldivian cuisine is based on three main items – coconuts, fish, and starches – and on the main island of Malé you will find delicious dishes filled with these ingredients in abundance. However, on the resort islands, you can expect to find not only traditional cuisine, but international options like Italian and Asian, and of course tons of seafood.
