Everyone’s wedding day has a story and some are lucky to have a special moment capture by photographers for nostalgia years later.
Holly Robinson Peete’s wedding to Rodney Peete was in 1995, but there’s a photo from their special day that reminds her of how great her best friend has been to her over the years.

On Instagram, Holly shared a throwback picture of her wedding party during a moment that was capture as she was coming down the aisle. Her wedding party included Rev. Jesse Jackson as an officiant, EJ Johnson, Raven Symone and her best friend, singer and En Vogue founding member Terry Ellis.
“This was the exact moment I first appeared on the aisle at my wedding. Notice everyone is looking at me but Terry, is looking at Rodney to see his expression upon seeing me……like “that is your Queen and you better treat her right!! That just says it all,” explained Holly.
It looks like Terry’s warning-filled side-eye message was received, because the Peetes have been going strong for over 23 years.
Now that’s what friends are for.
