Amber Rose and her beau Val Chmerkovskiy have been very hot and heavy on Instagram, and since their budding relationship is still going strong, we’re catching you up on what we know about the man who has stolen the Muva’s heart.
1. Val and Amber Met on Dancing With The Stars
Amber was a contestant on the ABC hit series during season 23. Coincedentally,, she was partnered with Maksim Chmerkovskiy who just happens to be Val’s older brother!
2. Val is from Ukrainia.
Born in 1986, the 30-year-old hails from the European country and moved to the United States in 1994.
3. He has Been Dancing Since He Was 10.
When he was 15 years old, Val and his then-dance partner won the world junior championship title, becoming the first American dance team to do so.
4. Val has been partnered with both Zendaya and Tamar Braxton on Dancing With the Stars before.
In season 16, he and Disney Darling and our August 2016 cover star Zendaya set the dance floor on fire week after week before ultimately finishing the competition in 2nd place.
5. He has Been the Mirror Ball Champion Twice.
Val and his dancing feet have scored big on Dancing with the Stars twice, taking home the grand prize with partners Rumer Willis and most recently with 2016 Olympian, Laurie Hernandez.
6. These two don’t hold back on their love for each other on the gram.

During season 21 of Dancing with the Stars, Val lent his professional dance talents to singer and reality star Tamar Braxton. The pair was a fan favorite but they had to bow out of the competition due to Braxton’s health complications.
