World, meet Charlie!
Chance The Rapper, one of our favorite celebrity dads, is all about family! In a new Instagram reveal, Chance’s daughter Kensli happily embraces her little cousin Charlie – the son of his brother Taylor Bennett. How cute is this?!
Immediately after his brother Taylor and his girlfriend Kayla welcomed Charlie into the world, Chance posted a tender moment with his new nephew while revealing he’d planned to take a sabbatical to study the Bible. “I’m off to read and learn because the next generation of Bennett is here and I need to be able to give my nephew Charlie Matthew the knowledge and tools to F— YALL UP,” he writes. “But seriously he’s the first boy of the next line and he needs his uncle to be educated. So dont bother me, ill be back soon enough, with five or more books from bible read.”
Chance proposed to his longtime girlfriend Kirsten Corley in July of 2018, but many speculated that Chance was dropping hints about baby number two about six months prior to getting down on one knee. In January 2018, the Chicago rapper posted a flexing emoji, an emoji of a four-person family, and repeat symbol on his Instagram story. Many interpreted the cryptic message as a hint that Kirsten was expecting, though the couple never confirmed this.
This past Valentine’s Day, Chance eluded to the fact that he and Kristen may have already tied the knot. “I met my wife when I was Nine.. I had a hunch back then but I took my time,” he writes, using the hashtag #reallove.
