“I don’t think I’ve ever been in love, so I don’t know [about] like real love because I think when you know, you just like know,” the 25-year-old admitted. “Looking back, I’m like ‘that was not love, that was childish, that wasn’t real love.’ So yeah, I haven’t experienced that.”

Most recently linked to fellow rapper Lil Durk, the ESSENCE Fest 2016 performer admits that one of the reason she’s still here for love is rooted in knowing she doesn’t need a relationship to validate her confidence or her cool.
“I’m still learning what love is so I don’t know what I would tell my younger self about it,” she added. “Loving yourself is probably the most important thing. My thing is just never settling and that’s a part of loving myself and just not doing anything just to say I have someone. Self-love is where it starts.”
