Navy lovebirds Lori and Randy have a mutual friend to thank for introducing them, but they fell in love with no help at all. Their love story is as sweet as his semi–impromptu proposal, and now, they’re about to embark on the biggest mission of their life – marriage. Today, we highlight their love.
“I think he chose to marry me because he always says I am the complete package – smart, beautiful, and I can cook,” says Lori.
Lori brags that the very best gift Randolph has ever given to her is “his love.” Now, how sweet is that?
The happy couple got engaged after two years of dating, and now they anxiously await their summer wedding day.
Lori and Randolph are big on traveling and making new memories together. “Since we don’t get to see each other a lot, we really value the time we have together and make every minute fabulous,” says Lori.
Randy is the best man for Lori because, she says, he really compliments her personality. “He understands me,” she tells us. “He’s not intimidated by my success, and he’s patient and truly loves me.”
Second to his heart, Lori says the sexiest thing about her husband-to-be is his smile. “I love Randy’s dimples,” she spills.
Randy reveals that what made him fall in love with Lori was her ability to bring out his vulnerability. “She worked really hard at breaking down my walls of protection,” he shares. “She really got to know me very well. I couldn’t help but love her.”
The sweethearts plan on having a true southern-inspired wedding day, complete with a bridal tea and a rehearsal dinner on a riverboat.
“The way Randy interacts with my parents, you would think he grew up down the street from me,” says Lori. “They love him to pieces, especially my Dad, and that’s saying a lot because he’s a retired Command Sergeant Major, so he’s pretty tough.”
“That Lori knows how to love me is what I love most about her,” says Randy of his bride-to-be.
Lori and Randolph are each other’s biggest fans: “My friends always tell me how happy we look together. He puts a smile on my face, and he truly is a good man.”
It’s the little things that Lori holds near and dear to her heart when it comes to marriage. “When we’re finally husband and wife, I can’t wait to just live together,” she says. “Due to the nature of our jobs, out of the last two and a half years, we’ve only had five months together in one place.”
“I am looking forward to growing more as a man, husband and future father one day in order to be the supporter I need to be at home and an example to others,” says Randy. “I believe these are things men are born and designed to do.” Join us in congratulating the happy couple and leave them a little comment love below.
