“I knew Greg was ‘The One’ when I saw his love and care following my surgery,” says Jen. “I practically moved in with him for a month or so (under his loving demands), and he waited on me hand and foot the entire time changing his work schedule so that he could come home, fix my meals, and administer my meds. He drove me to my post-op appointments too. I’m a hands-on, take charge type person, so it’s hard for me to allow people to do things for me. But when I saw my Superman spring into action with no hesitation, I knew this man loved me with every fiber of his being.”
“He’s always encouraging me to pursue my passions,” says Jen. “Not only am I an actress, I’m an artist in every sense of the word. One of my budding passions is photography and he surprised me with a photography workshop and a professional camera, so now I’m capturing those beautiful images and moments that I used to simply point out.”
“My friends say we are the male and female version of each other,” Jen share. “They say I’ve finally met my match.” The couple are picture perfect, for sure.
“I’m a bit of an alpha-female and Greg allows me to have soft and vulnerable moments,” says Jen. “It’s hard for me to trust people enough to show this side of me, but it just came naturally with Greg. He’s strong when I’m weak. And he also, inspires me to be my best.”
“My mother adores Greg,” Jen shares. “Really, he can do no wrong. She was calling him her son long before the engagement.” #Aww
“My ring is a flawless, colorless princess cut diamond with a halo of pave diamonds,” Jen tells us. “Ironically, he had already purchased the ring when I suggested we stop off into a jewelry store while strolling in the mall. It was fate that I picked out the exact ring that he had already purchased. That’s how we know that we really are meant to be.”
“I love everything about her, from her love and kind heart, her passion for everything she touches, her love for family, which is so important to me because family is all we have second to God,” says the groom-to-be. “Her relationship with God, it’s just so much that I can go on and on.”
“I love traveling with her and experiencing new things, whether it’s serving on a mission trip in Haiti together, going to Jamaica or the Bahamas on vacation or just going to the beach in Savannah,” says Greg.
“I fell in love with her during her first few phone conversations,” says Greg. “I mean, we talked on the phone literally five hours each night until we fell asleep holding the phone. I just couldn’t get enough. The more time I spent with her and got to know her, I realized how she was just different from any other woman I had dated. I knew I loved her right from the start; I just wanted to take my time to make sure the feelings were real.”
“She had her own personal relationship with God, which was very important to me,” Greg proudly shares. “She was not all about partying and the nightlife. She not only had goals but was also accomplishing them. Being an entrepreneur myself, that attracted me and motivated me at the same time.”
“I look forward to starting a family together and growing a deeper bond as man and wife,” says Greg. “This will be my life partner. It’s something neither of us has experienced before, so I look forward to it.”
Join us in congratulating Jen and Greg on their wedding this weekend. Hooray for love!
