Kenya Moore recently stopped by The Wendy Williams Show for the tea-spilling chat we all were looking forward to. Based on their conversation, we’ve learned that Moore and her estranged husband Marc Daly aren’t throwing in the towel on their marriage just yet.
“We are working to raise our child and be civil to each other for now,” she told Wendy, adding that the two haven’t officially filed for divorce as of yet.
That’s not all! Apparently, the chemistry is still real between the two. Moore and Daly recently came together for their daughter Brooklyn’s 1st birthday party, and sparks were flying. “When we were at the birthday party, he couldn’t take his eyes off me,” Moore told the talk show host. “He’s made it clear he’s still in love, I’m still in love. We kissed each other at the end of the day.”
She continues: “There is love there. The distance and everything else is just pulling us apart. We have issues we haven’t worked out.”
In September 2019, Moore and Daly issued separate statements confirming their split. At the time, the Real Housewives Of Atlanta said the marriage could not continue because of “recent and ongoing circumstances,” while the restauranteur promised to “cherish our family’s good times together and will continue to co-parent in a loving way.”
This isn’t the first time Moore projected hope that she and her estranged husband could work through things. “I didn’t get married to quit,” Moore told People last week. “I love my husband. I don’t doubt that he loves me. Let me be clear, I took my vows seriously. I believe in for better and for worse and I believe in trying it all before you walk away, especially when we do have a child and we are a family.”
Will Kenya Moore and Marc Daly pump the breaks on their impending divorce? Only time will tell. But we’re hoping they’ll hang on to their love.
