Cardi B and Offset
In July fans cheered along as married rappers Cardi Bi and Offset welcomed their first child together, a daughter they named Kulture Kiari Cephus. Just a few months later, things took a surprise twist when there appeared to be trouble brewing in paradise. On December 5th 2018, Cardi announced via an Instagram video that she and Offset had in fact split. “We got a lot of love for each other but things just haven’t been working out between us for a long time,” she said in the video. Ever since the news came out that their relationship had ended, Offset has been on a public apology tour trying to get Cardi to take him back by any means neccessary, including crashing her headlining performance at the Rolling Loud festival with flowers to showering her with lavish Christmas gifts. Cardi hasn’t agreed to take him back, as far as we know, but she made it clear to her fans that they remain good friends who are co-parenting so she doesn’t want them to troll Offset online. We have a feeling this saga will continue into 2019, but either way, all eyes were on Cardi and Offset this year.
