Sarunas Jackson, most known for playing Molly’s married sex buddy Dro in Insecure, is booked and busy with a few other roles this summer. In addition to playing the unfaithful basketball star in Games People Play opposite Lauren London, he appears in the Freeform show Good Trouble as the love interest of Zuri Adele (who plays activist Malika Williams).
Recent photos of them had people thinking Jackson and Adele’s relationship was more than professional. Not to mention, The Shade Room posted a photo of Jackson and Hall all boo’ed up. But was it for the show, or was art imitating life?
There are also breadcrumbs of their close relationship on Instagram. In wishing Jackson a happy birthday, Adele wrote about how special he is to her.
“Happy Earth-side Appearance Day to this Whole entire angel and full-time heart protector, who is always inspiring me to live authentically and walk in my worth,” she captioned a photo of them embracing each other. “What a heart, what a talent, what a vessel, and what a blessing You are, King. So much is unfolding for and through you in this moment and always, and I am so honored to be a witness.”
The two looked dapper in a black-and-white photo Adele captions, “Mom & Dad.”
“Shea Butter Baby” vibes, huh? Do tell!
Jackson, who shares a 1-year-old daughter with Insecure co-star Dominique Perry, responded to the rumors with a comment on The Shade Room alluding that only their Good Trouble characters are in love.
Sorry folks, nothing to see here…except their amazing show Good Trouble, which is back for season 2 on June 18.
