Now that Phaedra Parks and her new boyfriend are Instagram official, here’s everything you need to know about their blossoming new romance.
After her devastating divorce from ex-husband Apollo Nida, which played out during season 7 of Real Housewives of Atlanta, Phaedra seemed to put dating on ice while focusing on her career and raising her two sons Aiden and Dylan. That was until a Chicago radio personality named Tone Kapone swooped in with his charming smile and quickly took the single reality star off the market.
Phaedra has since left the show, but the curiosity surrounding her love life remains alive and well. It all started once she posted a photo of herself and Kapone celebrating New Year’s Eve together. Her mysterious caption, “2019 we are ready,” left plenty to the imagination.

We didn’t have to imagine what these two were up to for very long. About a week and a half later, Kapone popped up on a morning show called The Jam to spill the tea on his new bae. “We’re dating,” he confirmed on the show. When asked what he likes most about her, he revealed, “She’s funny as ever, one of the funniest women I’ve ever met. […] I slid into her DMs. I kinda knew she wanted me to say ‘Hi.’” Phaedra re-posted the video clip to her Instagram, encouraging hopeful lovebirds to “just slide into the DMs.”

The two are currently date long distance since Kapone lives in Chicago and Phaedra is still based in Atlanta. Since announcing their relationship, there has been no shortage of lovey dovey moments between the two.

Tone and Phaedra are currently vacationing in Miami. While those of us up north are holding on to light poles trying not to get blown away by the freezing wind, these two lovebirds headed south to Miami for some fun in the sun (and of course ample partying.)
