For weeks now, there’s been some buzz on the internet about Real Housewives Of Atlanta star Porsha Williams and her fiance Dennis McKinley possibly breaking up. The couple announced their pregnancy in September 2018 on social media and during the filming of RHOA. Soon after, McKinley planned an elaborate proposal and asked Williams to be his wife.
Although Williams previously told ESSENCE that she planned to wed McKinley in a beautiful New Year’s Eve ceremony in Atlanta, rumor has it that those plans are now canceled. The speculation began when Williams unfollowed McKinley on Instagram (he eventually returned the favor and hit unfollow as well.)
It also appears the reality star deleted many of the photos she once posted of McKinley, keeping a few sweet moments with him and their three-month-old daughter, Pilar. Fans also noticed her left hand has been missing that hefty engagement ring.
In an conversation captured by ESSENCE at the American Black Film Festival, Williams addressed the rumors by simply claiming there’s “nothing she’s trying to hide” in regards to her relationship with McKinley, and that her focus is protecting her family. According to E! News, Williams and McKinley broke up eight months into their engagement. The split came amid rumors that McKinley had cheated on his fiance with another woman.

McKinley spoke out denying the rumors of having an affair with another reality star. “These false and slanderous allegations against me are made solely to damage my reputation, jeopardize my ongoing businesses, and negatively impact my family,” he said in a statement.
