With the daily hustle and flow of our busy lives constantly pulling at us, it can feel like a challenge to connect with the ones we love the most—including planning a formal date night, which can often be the first thing we put off. The good news is, you don’t need a night out on the town to feel more connected to and loved by your partner, you just need to be intentional about doing something together that will bring you closer. Here are six simple ways to instantly connect with your love, promise!
01
Workout Together
A morning run or evening stroll for two, sans headphones, is the perfect way to bond while your endorphins are flowing. Make it a race, for some fun competition between lovers or make it meaningful by sharing your dreams as you walk laps around your favorite park.

Read To Each Other
Turn away from those screens and turn some pages. There’s a unique intimacy in the act of cozying up with the one you love and getting lost in a good book together. Take turns reading chapters to each other in bed or if you’re apart, read separately and then talk about the book together. Either way, you’re connecting in a new way.
03
Get Lost Together
So often when we’re in the car together we’re busy trying to get somewhere or in a rush to get home. Fill up the tank and turn off the navigation apps and car radio and just get lost in conversation together with no particular destination in mind. The adventure in not knowing where you’ll end up for the day will excite you and the conversations you share will be more meaningful without the day-to-day distractions weighing down on you.

Take A Bath Together
Only have thirty minutes before it’s time to turn in for the night? Skip that last hour or Netflix or nightly news and run a hot, soothing, aromatherapy-infused bath for two. If you don’t have a tub that will accommodate you both, no problem, as shower can be just as sexy too. As Niecy Nash put it best with the title of her last book, it’s hard to argue when you’re naked. Just relax, slowly bath each other and talk about what made you happy that day. Ahh, now doesn’t that sound nice?

Exchange Actual Love Letters
Emails and emoji filled texts are cute, but when was the last time you whipped out some stationary and a pen and poured out your heart on paper? Not only are you able to share your feelings for each other in a more intimate and thoughtful way, but the letters themselves become romantic keepsakes you can cherish and re-read whenever your heart desires.

Make A Sexy Wishlist
If you want to feel more connected between the sheets, you need to know how to truly satisfy each other. You and bae should make individual lists of exactly what makes you feel sexy and what brings you the most pleasure and then swap. Have fun working new activities (wink!) into your bedroom routines and watch the magic happen.
