Remy Ma and Papoose’s love is as solid as ever, and in honor of their eleventh year of marriage, the couple represented Black Love in the most lowkey and romantic way ever. Oh yeah…and they dropped a song together too!
In an Instagram post celebrating their anniversary, Remy shared a photo montage with photos of herself and her husband throughout the years. “Yesterday made 11 years I’ve been married to my husband @PapoosePapoose ELEVEN YEARS of unconditional unwavering committed LOVE & MARRIAGE!!,” she captions the video where Gerald Levert’s “Made To Love Ya” played in the background.
Remy then lets us in on just how she and her hubby celebrated another year married. “We didn’t have a big celebration or social announcement, we just spent the day together ( me, him & the Golden Child)- we ate some good food, watched a movie, put out a record lol and took turns playing songs that remind us of different times in our relationship and it was perfect🥰 You can’t fake this type of love you can’t #CC this type of loyalty…NOTHING and I mean NOTHING or NO ONE will ever change that💍I love you my King💋 Happy anniversary 🥂”
Remy and Papoose also dropped their new single “CC” on their anniversary date. Clout chasers should run for cover!
The Mackies originally married in 2008 – just days before she served a six-year prison sentence. After her release, the Mackies said “I Do” all over again during their dream wedding in Connecticut, which aired on VH1’s Love & Hip Hop.
The couple welcomed their first child together, Reminisce MacKenzie (affectionately nicknamed The Golden Child), in December 2018. The couple recently stopped by The Real and dished that they’re considering having another child. Remy said, “if [Papoose] behaves and doesn’t spoil ‘The Golden Child’ like he’s planning to do, we have a good baby and he accepts my nanny stuff and all of that, maybe somewhere around 2020, we’ll do the other one.”
