Alicia Keys made her hosting debut at the 2019 Grammy Awards last night, and looked absolutely radiant while doing it. Know who else agrees? Her hubby Swizz Beatz.
The super producer couldn’t be more proud of his wife who stunned on stage (wearing minimal makeup, might we add!). Swizz was practically her biggest cheerleader all night, and even shared some epic after-awards moments we didn’t get to see on TV.
Immediately after the show, the proud husband followed captured his close up as they headed to the after-party. The singer was deck out in a hot pink spandex outfit topped with a New York Yankees jersey. Rightfully, he made the first-time host feel like the star that she is.
Not only did we get to see Alicia do her thing on stage – we also got a brand new single from the multi-talented queen. It’s called “Raise A Man,” and clearly its got Swizzy’s stamp of approval.

With her man by her side, Alicia told Entertainment Tonight that the hosting gig fulfilled all of her expectations. “It was unbelievable. It was exactly what I wanted to bring – I wanted to bring that good energy, the light and the love. I just felt everybody was with me on it.” Hubby was quick to remind the reporter that his wife managed to get Michelle Obama on stage. Don’t hold your breath for next year, though. Alicia hints that this may be a one-time deal.
