Vivica A. Fox has never been afraid to wear her heart on her sleeve. Perhaps that’s what we love about the Two Can Play That Game star who’s equally open about her triumphs and challenges in love and life.
On a recent episode of her syndicated talk show Face The Truth TV, Fox opened up about the lessons she’s learned in love and what she vows never to do again. “A six pack and a smile used to get me every time,” she confesses. “But now I’ve grown up, and honestly I’m looking for a good partner.”
Vivica has been more than candid about her 2003 relationship with 50 Cent (she even spilled some piping hot tea about how good their sex was in her 2018 book, Every Day I’m Hustling). She once told Wendy Williams that the relationship “haunted her” for so long because she found out the rapper was planning to propose. After years of exchanging in a social-media fueled war of words, Vivica and 50 are on good terms.
While good sex is still a priority, she’s committed to moving a bit differently in relationships these days. “See before, I used to put sex before getting to know a person. Trust me, I’m single. So now I’m taking the time to get to know someone that loves to travel, that loves sports, that loves to have fun and enjoy life and got his own money!”
Amen to that! Check out Vivica chatting it up with Robin Thede about finally becoming comfortable in her own skin in the exclusive ESSENCE fest clip below:
