Here at ESSENCE, we love a colorful and unique wedding moment. So we absolutely must tip our hats to this bride and groom who turned the gorgeous city of New Orleans into their wedding reception.
Business owner and fitness enthusiast Katrina Charles and her husband Stacey Daniels shared tons of photos from their ceremony in The Big Easy. The couple said “I Do” in the city’s famous Jackson Square, sharing their first kiss as husband and wife in front of the fountain.
Katrina looked gorgeous in a lace form-fitting gown with a mermaid style train. Her natural curls were accented with baby’s breath, and her bridesmaids looked stunning in soft pink one shoulder gowns.
The big moment was Katrina and Stacey’s second line walk through the French Quarter, decked out in their wedding day attire. The couple hired local musicians Young Fellaz Brass Band. They really did that!
