A lasting love is always built on an incredible friendship. For Alexandra and Michael that bond began the second semester of their freshman year at The University Of Georgia. Michael had just transferred to the school to run track and play football and Alexandra immediately noticed there was a new guy around campus. “I distinctly remember asking one of our close friends, ‘Who is that guy over there?” she recalls. “Sometimes I still pinch myself.” They were meant to be from the start. “We formed an incredible friendship based on mutual interests and respect that grew into a dating relationship and much more,” Alexandra adds.

Nine years later, Michael had a big question to ask Alexandra. She was working as a summer associate in Nashville, Tennessee during the summer after her second semester of law school. Michael had just completed the MBA program at The University Of Massachusetts. “He flew me, my mom, his parents and his little sister to Boston for graduation,” says Alexandra. “I could tell something was up, but I was not sure what. That evening at a beautiful top-story restaurant overlooking the Boston skyline, in front of the people we love the most, Michael got down on one knee and promised to love me for the rest of our lives.” It took two years to plan their lavish Atlanta dream wedding.
