Without hesitation, Anicka knew her dress was the one that was meant for her. “I went to a few other appointments but I knew that was the “one” so my mother and I sped back across town to get it,” she said. “Every dress I tried on thereafter was compared to the first dress and I had to have it!”
“Being a bride was surreal and euphoric! It was all that I ever imagined as a little girl,” said Anicka of her wedding day feeling. “I enjoyed the getting dressed up, made up and styled up!”
Anicka admits that she is definitely a shoe lover–so much so that she wore 3 different pairs on her wedding day! “I wore Betsey Johnson Blue collection “ I do” beaded T- Strap satin heels at my reception,” said the bride.
“It was a Cinderella style tulle ball gown dress with an intricately beaded waistband,” said Anicka. “It took one day to find my dress, probably one the easier decision in the wedding planning process.”
We can’t help but say yes to Anicka’s gorgeous bridal jewelry.
Anicka prepping for her big day required all hands on deck!
The bride ended up cutting her foot on a rock during the wedding day so her “blinged out” white chucks ending up saving the day!
Lorenzo said being a groom was everything he “dreamed it would be.” How special!
Two little flower girls means twice the preciousness!
“It’s really hard to say what I love most about Lorenzo because he has many qualities about him that I admire,” shared the bride of her groom. “However, his personality is what I love the most because he is wise beyond his years.”

“Lorenzo is a great person to be around and he is spontaneous,” said Anicka. “He loves to try new things and show me new things. He is a provider and very strategic, he is always planning ahead and he considers everyone in any situation, ensuring everyone is okay and especially me. He’s my best friend, prayer partner, wing man and future father of my children. Growing old with him the best is yet to be!”
Anicka’s dad, who she affectionnately calls “big daddy” walked her down the aisle. “My Big Daddy is my biological father and he is the first man that loved me! I have been calling him Big Daddy since I can remember. He always showed me love and set the bar HIGH for how a man should love me. My father is a pastor, but that day I just wanted him to be my Big Daddy and I his baby girl on my wedding day,” she shared.
“I felt safe, indescribable happiness and genuine love surrounding us,” said Anicka. “I knew when my Daddy gave me away I was going to be okay! We laughed and smiled the entire ceremony. He looked handsome and hot. I knew the man I was standing at the alter with a man that loved me and our future was bright.”
“I felt comfort, love and happiness,” said Lorenzo of he and Anicka’s time at the altar. “It was like Best Friends making a pact to join together and concur the world.”
Anicka and Lorenzo shared nothing but love and laughter at the altar. Nothing beats that!
“I know Anicka is a go getter, hustler and free spirited person as I am,” said the groom. “Truthfully, I never have I doubted the fact that I have a wife I can count on. One who will allow me to strive to reach my aspirations but will also help me up if I were to fall. I’ve observed her interactions with children honestly believe she will be a great mother to our future children.”
Lorenzo and Anicka incorporated a sand ceremony into their special day as a sweet nod to their unity forever!
“We could sit and talk for hours and that’s priceless to me because as we grow older and build memories together we will always have great conversation,” said Anicka.
Lorenzo sure did kiss his bride!
“I hope to build countless memories with her,” said Lorenzo. “She is so supportive in my endeavors that most times I feel I can achieve anything.”
Anicka and Lorenzo jumped for joy as they jumped the broom!
Happily ever after starts for these two!
“We don’t have to say a word but just being together is comforting in itself,” said Lorenzo.
Anicka got sick and wasn’t feeling like herself but that didn’t stop Lorenzo from loving her and for that she knew he was the one for her. “He was supportive and loved me just the way I was…flaws and all,” the bride said. “He was a man of action, not just words.”
Because Lorenzo and Anicka decided to enjoy their wedding while on a cruise, they enjoyed several days with guests in multiple places. Their wedding photos are proof that they had a ball!
“Lorenzo was a friend before he was anything to me,” said Anicka of her groom. “He is my best friend, he believes in God and has strong family values. We have been through thick and thin. Our trials have made us a stronger couple. I believe in his dreams and he believes in mine which together makes anything possible keeping God first.”
Anicka and Lorenzo provided their guests with special personalized programs for their nuptials.
“When I first met Lorenzo I knew he was the one! We started our communication online and it took a while for us to meet but when we did our connection was instant,” said Anicka. “I always believed in love, but true love began at first sight with Lorenzo! Through all our trials I knew he was the one and always believed we would be together. I never expected that my love connection would start on the internet! But, with that being said God had a plan and it lead me to Lorenzo.”
Anicka and Lorenzo’s guests gave their well wishes to the bride and groom on the start to their journey of forever.
“I like to think I knew what true love meant,” said Lorenzo. “But over these past 6 years, I have watched our relationship go through many phases and through each positive or negative we have learned a lesson which has made our relationship that much stronger. Our communication has improved a lot and I have never been so eager to continue on this journey through life with her. This women is who I believe God has place on Earth for me.”
“There were numerous occasions where I knew I wanted to marry Anicka,” shared the groom. “She is my best friend!”
Although Anicka and Lorenzo technically had a destination wedding, they chose to incorporate some of the authentic elements Turks and Caicos Island traditions from the ceremony, the venues and traditional food. It was also a great way to incorporate the groom’s hometown into their big day!
Mr. and Mrs. Seymour look like they had a day to remember!
Anicka and her dad shared such a sweet moment on the dance floor.
Lorenzo and his mother shared a mother-son dance during the reception. The special moment even brought tears to his eyes.
Lorenzo and Anicka danced to “Promise to Love” by Kem shortly after being announced as husband and wife for the very first time.
