Sometimes the man of your dreams is just one click away. Soul mates Bridget and Carlos met online and found instant happiness. Two years later he surprised her with a surprise proposal in the middle of a photo shoot. See their romantic beach “I dos.”
“To find my dress, I went to Bridals by Lori,” says Bridget. “They were so helpful. I had an idea of the style I wanted when I realized I found like 10 dresses with only slight variations. I knew it was the one when it had everything I wanted and was also under budget.
“Being the bride was amazing,” Bridget gushes. “Yes, it was all I dreamed it would be and more.”
Bridget’s bridal glow shined bright on her wedding day.
Bridget chose bride favorite, designer Badgley Mischka for her fierce wedding day shoes.
“I knew he was the one when I realized he had all the qualities I wanted and even ones that I didn’t know I wanted,” says Bridget of Carlos. “He makes me a better person.”
“I love orchids!” exclaims the happy bride, who chose to carry them in her bouquet on the big day. “It was made of white roses and orchids.”

“For my hairstyle, I did lots of research online,” says Bridget. “I wanted to incorporate curls but wanted it up since it was outside and probably windy. The stylist did a wonderful job!”
Carlos and his groomsman shared an epic toast before he made his way down the aisle to meet Bridget at the altar.
Bridget’s bridesmaids wore gowns by Dessy. “Lavender is my favorite color,” she tells us. “I worked with my maids of honor who have different styles to select dresses of their choice within the line. They both have wonderful taste and I wanted the dresses to be ones that they genuinely liked.”
We love it when brides choose to bring a fairytale ballgown to the beach. Don’t you?

“I knew she was ‘The One’ when I realized I could be myself 110-percent of the time around her and that she loved me anyway,” says Carlos.
“I got emotional walking down the aisle but my Dad kept me laughing,” says Bridget.
“We exchanged traditional vows,” says Bridget. “Its beautiful knowing so many people before us united using the same vows.”
At the altar, Bridget tells us she felt “happy” and Carlos says he was “very excited.”
Carlos and Bridget lit a unity candle together to unite their families as one.

Bridget and Carlos crossed the sands into their new life as husband and wife.
A sweet pucker at the end of the aisle let guests know it was time for an epic reception party.
“I said yes because he is the most amazing man I have ever met,” says Bridget. “I could not imagine spending the rest of my life with any one else.”
All of their guests got a chance to share the spotlight with the bride and groom during their wedding weekend.
“Even my family noticed the difference compared to previous relationships,” says Carlos of the time he knew it was true love with Bridget.
“I love her sense of humor most,” says Carlos. “She always finds a reason to laugh and smile.”
“I knew I wanted to be with my best friend for the rest of my life,” says Carlos.
“Bridget is sweet, caring, hilarious, brilliant, easy going, affectionate, loyal and compassionate,” Carlos brags. She sure sounds like the right woman to spend forever with, good call!
Gorgeous purple uplighting helped to create an elegant and romantic vibe for the couple’s ballroom reception at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Punta Cana.
“I was just starting residency and had no time to really go out and meet people when we met,” explains Bridget. “He was so understanding of my schedule and supportive.”
“Since orchids are my favorite, I incorporated them into the cake too,” says Bridget. “It was vanilla cake with buttercream frosting!” Yummy!
For their first dance song, romantic couple Bridget and Carlos chose Anthony Hamilton’s “The Point Of It All.”
A deejay kept the tunes spinning as the couple and their guests partied into the night.
Bridget and Carlos wanted their guests to enjoy every second of their wedding weekend. “We hosted a welcome event for guests to mingle and we had fire performers, a bartender show and a cartoonist doing caricatures too,” she tells us. “It really set the tone of the weekend.”
