“I would do anything for him” the bride said of her groom. “The saying is true, ‘that when you know, you know!’”
“My face completely lit up as soon as I spotted the dress on the hanger; it was as if I was drawn to it,” said Karel. “I knew before trying it on that it was the one.”
Initially Karel wasn’t a big fan of a lace gown for her wedding day but after a fun day of picking out dresses with her mom and sisters ended up with the bride falling in love a dress she never would have expected!
Joseph comes from a very close-knit family and seeing Karel with his brother and sister let him know she was the one for him. “Seeing her with my family in a variety of circumstances, everything always seemed so natural,” he said. “She belongs in my family, I just had to make it official.”
The bride wanted her bridemaids to be comfortable during her wedding day to help embody the classic and elegant theme of the big day. Mission accomplished!
On her wedding day to husband Hervé, Tammi had some of her favorite girls by her side! “I’m a middle child and my older sister was the maid of honor, younger sister was a bridesmaid, Joseph’s sister (my new sister!) was a bridesmaid, and my best friend from childhood was also a bridesmaid.”
Joseph and her very dapper groomsmen donned navy suits and they looked great!
“I find her magnetic,” Joseph said of Karel. “I always want to be in contact with her. I want to know what she’s doing, where she is, who’s making her laugh, what is she thinking. She’s got me hook line and sinker.”
“His sense of humor and ability to find common ground with everyone he encounters,” Karel said. “It’s disarming, and draws people in. He knows about a lot of random things, which helps create connections, but most importantly he’s honest and genuine – never tries to be someone he isn’t. He’s so down to earth, so humble.”
“I don’t think she had ever been more beautiful,” said the groom of seeing the bride at the altar. “It was as if there was no one else in the church.”
“I suppose I knew before I knew,” said Joseph on Karel being “The One” for him. “What I mean is there is no one moment, or day that it dawned on me. We flowed so naturally from one phase of the relationship to the next. Even the hard times were never a challenge. I have my moments where I can be stubborn or selfish, but when it comes to Karel, she is always first. I would do anything for her.”
“I said yes because he’s my best friend…He has a number of great qualities – at the top of the list: He’s loyal and I trust him completely,” said Karel. “We’re a team. I love him. He’s also hilarious – I love a great sense of humor; we can be silly together.”
“[She’s] strong, loving, supportive, inspiring, gorgeous, and always right,” said Joseph of Karel.
Joseph is an architect andwanted a wedding venue that had inspiring aesthetics but evoked the spirit and the uniqueness of the couple. We think he got it right!
When Karel met Joseph, love wasn’t something she was searching for. In fact it was quite the opposite but she found what she didn’t know she needed when she least expected it!
“I consider myself beyond lucky to have met such an amazing woman,” said Joseph of Karel.
Karel had no idea Joseph was planning to propose when he did, in fact she wasn’t even paying attention to the hints that he was dropping that he was going to pop the question! But when he asked her to be his wife, she said “yes” with no hesitation in her mind.
“I have my moments where I can be stubborn or selfish, but when it comes to Karel, she is always first,” said the groom of his bride. “I would do anything for her.”
“I’m extremely shy by nature, so the thought of being center of attention to such an extreme degree was a bit overwhelming at first, but as it was happening it felt perfect,” said Karel of being a bride and finally marrying her groom.

At the end of the night, Karel and Joseph’s faces hurt from smiling so much! What a magical way to feel at the end of a big day!
