“When he proposed, I was so thankful that God had brought this man to me and my daughter,” says gorgeous bride Michele. “He was all that I had prayed for. God is so amazing! It was the proposal of my dreams.”
“It felt surreal and peaceful,” says Kyrus. “I just soaked up the goodness of God all day. It was all that I dreamed of and I felt blessed.”
“I searched for a style that I could look nice in on the wedding day, but be relaxed and not too made up on the beach,” says Michele of her choice to go with a fab updo.
“I love his personality,” says Michele. “We get along so well.”
Michele was surrounded by so many helping hands on her big day.
“I knew that Michele was ‘The One’ and would be a great wife on February 2, 2014 during our Super Bowl party,” say Kyrus “It was a party of three…me, her, and Alex. It was snowing and the game was absolutely horrible. But, we had food and fun, and I knew at that point that I never wanted to not be with her again.”
“We selected the groomsmen attire together,” Michele tells us.
Spelman woman Michele chose “Spelman blue” for her bridesmaids, many of whom were lifelong friends she met in college.
“Kyrus, loves God, he loves me and my daughter, and he loves himself,” says Michele.
“He is intelligent, funny, determined, loyal, accomplished and is a man of his word,” says Michele. “He is amazing and anyone can see the goodness that is inside of him.”
“After my first marriage, I totally swore off commitment and vowed to never get married again,” says Kyrus. “But God clearly had other plans, and I am so glad that His plans were greater than my thoughts and feelings prior to meeting Michele.”
“She’s also very patient and supportive, which is important given the demands of our careers,” says Kyrus. “After praying about it, I realized that I couldn’t imagine spending the rest of my life with anyone else.”
“My father walked me down the aisle because I love him and it was always his dream to do it,” says Michele.
“Looking into his eyes at the altar I felt loved,” says the bride.

“We had old testament readings, new testament readings, communion, a unity candle lighting and we jumped the broom,” the bride recalls.
The newlyweds walk off into the sunset after making it official on their big day.
“I knew he was ‘The One,’ on our first date,” says Kyrus. “I was not looking for a man and I knew that God brought this man to me. “
“I decided to propose to, and ultimately marry Michele because she is smart, caring, funny, and sexy.”
For their first dance as husband and wife, the couple invited a special visitor to join them — Michele’s daughter. #Aww
