“We started out as really good friends and that lead to an irresistible feeling of knowing that I couldn’t live without him,” says lovely bride Renice. “We both felt the same way. It was like cupid stuck us with an arrow.”
“I feel like he is everything that I ever wanted in a husband,” says Ronte. “Words wouldn’t be enough. I can say he’s the beat of my heart.”
“I just let my hairstylist work her magic on my big day,” says Renice.
“Cynthia Riddick –Saunders, a long time friend of the family that has know me since I was a baby, designed the bridesmaids’ dresses,” says Renice. “I wanted something comfortable and something that could be worn again for my girls and the color was red.”
“I had many thoughts running through my mind that day,” says Renice. “I’m about to marry the love of life… I’m about to be a wife, and someday a mom. I just thought I don’t want to ever fail him.”
“I knew all along he was the man that God sent for me,” says Renice. “I had to take advantage of God’s precious gift.”
“We complete each other,” says Renice. “Once I knew the love was there he was just irresistible.”
“I knew once we started dating seriously that she was the type of women I envision spending the rest of my days with,” says Ronte.
“I thought she met and surpassed all the requirements that one would want a woman to have, when choosing ones wife,” says Ronte.
Now this is what we call aisle runner perfection. Make your point, and make it well!
“My daddy walked me down the aisle,” says Renice. “It was just right for him to walk me down aisle because I think he’s the epitome of what I’ve always wanted in a husband. My daddy is my knight and shinning armor, and regardless of whatever I go through he’ll always be by my side. On that day I needed him by my side.”
“I did cry,” says Renice. “I had a lot of emotions that day. His eyes were a bit on the glossy side too and the palms of his hands were very sweaty. I can say I do remember that he had the biggest smile on face as if he were a kid in a candy store.”
“I felt like we had finally fully evolved that day,” says Ronte. “We both can remember the first time we actually hung out, so to make it to the altar was a wonderful feeling.”
“I’ve always wanted a wedding on or near the beach, which he wanted too,” says Renice.
The couple added a fog machine and a spotlight to make their first dance more romantic. They requested the deejay mix Charlie Wilson’s “You Are” with Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s “On The Run” for their big moment out on the dance floor.
“DJ Rick Geez of 103 Jamz, which is a well know deejay where I live, entertained guests at the reception,” says Renice.
Love filled the air that night. We can see and feel the love!
“I just love my wife in general,” says Ronte. “I really love and admire how thoughtful and caring she is and that she is very easy to love.”
