The Time Is Now
You just can’t rush true love. When beautiful bride Sally first met her new husband Lloyd had moved on from seeking a soul mate she was in her early 40s and focued on anything but meeting The One.” “I had really accepted that I was fine with being single for the rest of my life,” she recalls. “I wasn’t looking, and then it happened!”
Lloyd and Sally initially met randomly, while they were both out and about in the city. At that point they had only exchanged polite introductions and there were no fireworks. Then a few years later, in March 2012, Lloyd saw Sally’s profile online and reached out just to say “hello” via an inbox message. “I saw the message and since I was single I checked out his profile and was interested in what I saw, so I replied,” she tells us. “After messaging back and forth all evening, we exchanged numbers and arranged to meet for dinner the next evening. That first date was great and we seemed to be exactly what we were both looking for and we’ve been inseparable ever since!”
A Quiet Moment At Home
Lloyd’s intimate proposal was the sweetest. While she was taking a shower before they were headed out for the evening, he began to describe how much she meant to him. “I came out of the bathroom in my robe and shower cap and he was sitting on the bench at the end of the bed by the dresser,” she recalls. “I walked over to the dresser to continue to get ready and he asked, ‘So are you sure you think you could spend the rest of your life with me?’” Of course, she said “yes!” That’s when he pulled out a black ring box and said, “Well, then will you take this ring?” He opened the box and there sat the most beautiful engagement ring Sally had ever seen. See their romantic “I dos” and share their love!
